Dimanche 27 juin : Swiss Bike Trophy à Bern

1 semaine après les conditions hivernales d’Engelberg (Coupe de Suisse), c’est le soleil et la chaleur que nous retrouvons sur les hauteurs de Bern pour cette épreuve UCI Hors Classe.
Cette épreuve s’annonce relevée avec Spitz, Kalientieva, Lechner, Leuhman, Batty au départ, mais surtout très physique avec beaucoup de dénivelé.
Nous avons 1 start loop et 6 tours de 4,7km à faire. Le start loop est très court et donc très rapide, avant d’enchaîner sur la descente, tout le monde veut être bien placé! Je suis vers la 20ème position, j’arrive à remonter quelques places dans la 1ère bosse du circuit pour passer 14ème après 1 tour. Dans le 2ème tour, je me positionne dans un groupe pour la 8è place, mais les écarts se creusent avec la tête de course. Je fais les 3è, 4è et 5è tour seule en huitième position, pour réussir un bon dernier tour (4ème temps ) et aller chercher la 7ème place.

BERN the 27^th of June

One week after the winter conditions of Engelberg (Switzerland Cup) is the sun and the heat that we find in the hills of Bern for this event UCI Hors Classe.
This event promises to be identified with Spitz, Kalientieva, Lechner, Leuhman, Batty initially, but mostly very physical with lots of terrain.
We start a loop and 6 laps of 4.7 km to go. The start loop is very short and very fast, before moving on down, everybody wants to be well placed! I’m into the 20th position, I can go a few places in the first hump of the circuit to pass the 14th after a round. In the second round, I position myself in a group for the 8th place, but the gaps are widening with the race lead. I am the 3rd, 4th and 5th round alone in the eighth position, to ensure a good final round (4th time) and get the 7th place.

Next weekend, place to the 3rd round of the Coupe de France Super Besse

Dimanche 20 juin : Coupe de Suisse à Engelberg

Ce week end, je faisais mon retour à la compétition depuis 1 mois. Direction la Suisse à Engelberg à 1200 m d’altitude, j’arrive sur place le matin de la course car le circuit est court (3,2km et 136m de dénivelé) et  je profite de mon échauffement pour le reconnaître. Le tracé : une partie plate avant la montée sur route et chemin large, ensuite la descente qui est en première partie en sous bois avec quelques marches d’escaliers et la 2ème partie c’est un bourbier dans un champs.

La pluie et le froid sont aussi de la partie en cette veille d’été.

11h15 le départ va être lancé pour 6 tours, nous sommes déjà toute frigorifiées ! Je fais le départ en queue du groupe de tête jusqu’à la 1ère moitié de la bosse, j’essaye de m’accrocher pour basculer avec la tête de course, mais je vois que le rythme est soutenu. J’ai déjà quelques secondes de retard à l’entame de la descende où j’assure mes trajectoires car j’ai fais qu’une seule reco du circuit et mon épaule n’est pas encore stabilisée (depuis ma chute à Champéry le 4 juin). Je passe le haut du bourbier sur le vélo, mais pas la 2ème partie de ce torrent de boue pour ne prendre aucun risque. Je perd beaucoup de temps dans cette portion, j’essaye donc de limiter les écarts dans la bosse. Après ce 1er passage sur la ligne (6ème position), je m’aperçois que j’ai perdu mon seul bidon de la course ! Les conditions très froides et humides ne favorisent pas vraiment l’hydratation, ça va donc passer, il me reste encore 1h15 à tenir !

La montée de 7-8 minutes me permet de ne pas avoir trop froid, mais dès la descente, j’ai les doigts gelés et suis obligée de passer les vitesses avec mon poignet ! Le freinage est rendu difficile. C’est plus une course au courage que je dois absolument terminer. Les tours s’enchaînent, je suis entre la 6è et 8è place sans pouvoir vraiment faire mieux. Au 4ème tour, j’arrive à trouver un bidon d’eau, que je vais à nouveau perdre dans la descente.

Je fini donc cette épreuve en 6ème place. Résultats ICI

This weekend, I made my return to competition since 1 month. Branch Switzerland Engelberg 1200 m altitude, I arrived on site the morning of the race because the circuit is short (3.2 km and 136m elevation) and I take my warm-up for recognition. The plot: a flat section before the climb on road and off, then the descent is part one in the woods with a few stairs and the second part is a quagmire in a field. 
 
The rain and cold are also the party on this eve of summer. 
 
11:15 am on departure will be issued for 6 turns, we are already all refrigerated! I start at the tail of the lead group until the first half of the hump, try to switch to hang with the lead, but I see that the pace is fast. I have a few seconds behind at the start of the fall where I assure my lines because I did only a recce of the circuit  and my shoulder is not yet stabilized (since my fall in Champéry the 4 of June). I pass up the first part on the bike, but not the second part of this torrent of mud to take no risk. I lost a lot of time in this portion, so I try to limit the differences in the hump. After the first passage on the line (6th place), I realize that I lost my only bottle of the race! The very cold and wet conditions are not conducive to truly moisturizing, so it will pass, I  must still hold to 1:15! 
 
The rise of 7-8 minutes allows me to not be too cold, but after the descent, my fingers are frozen and  I am forced to change gear with my wrist! Braking is made difficult. It is more a race for the courage that I must absolutely  finish.  I am  between the 6th and 8th place without any real improvement. In the 4th round, I can find a bottle of water, I’ll lose it again in the descent. 
 
So I finished this race in 6th place. Results HERE 
 
The next weekend, I’d be out of the Swiss Bike Trophy in Bern

Jeudi 10 juin: un peu de news

Ce week end, j’étais engagée en Coupe de Suisse à Champéry sur le tracé de la prochaine manche de la Coupe du Monde qui aura lieu le 25 juillet mais aussi lieu des Championnats du Monde 2011.

Lors des reconnaissances samedi, j’ai chuté dans une partie, qui ne m’avait pas posé de problème lors du 1er passage. C’est une sortie de trajectoire qui me mets à terre après une perte d’air dans mon pneu avant.

Le bilan : de nombreux hématomes à l’épaule et une petite perte de connaissance; après un petit séjour à l’hôpital pour faire les examens nécessaires, je retrouve l’hôtel. Je n’ai donc pas pris le départ de la Swiss Cup et surtout pas de repérages en vue de la prochaine manche mondiale.

Depuis, les douleurs se sont atténuées et mon épaule est passée du bleu, violet au  jaune !  Seuls les entrainements sur route sont au programme.

Je ne serais donc pas au départ ce week end de la Coupe d’Allemagne à Albstadt.

News the 10^th of June 2010 /

This week end I was involved in the Swiss Cup in Champéry on the course of the next round of the World Cup to be held on Juky 25^th but instead of the 2011 World Championships.

In recognition of Saturday, I dropped in a part taht had not been a problem during the first passage. This output trajectory that put me down after a loss of air in my front tire.

The results : many bruises on the shoulder and a small loss of consciousness after a short stay in the hospital for the necessaries examinations, I went in my hotel again. So I did not start in the Swiss Cup and especially no Featured for the next round world.

Since then, the pain eased and my shoulder went from bleu, violet and yellow ! Only road workouts are scheduled.

I would not start this week end in the German Cup in Albstadt.
